Account Security

Two-factor Authentication (2FA) is a security method that requires two forms of identification to access resources and data. The first factor is the password, the second factor is authorized by a third-party authenticator like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.

Enabling 2FA is a great way to enhance the security of your account and prevent unauthorized access.

Once 2FA is activated, if you attempt to log in from a new device or an untrusted location, you will be prompted to enter a verification code from the authorized authenticator to gain entry to the system.

  • Activate 2FA by toggle the button
  • Before proceeding further, you will be requested to enter the password to confirm your identity
  • Our two-factor authentication system is designed to work seamlessly with major authenticator apps. If the app is already on your device, launch it and begin the authentication process. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, pick one from the provided link and follow the steps.
  • Proceed by following the instructions and scan the QR code to obtain the initial 6-digit verification code

If you come across a 2FA prompt while logging in, well done! Your account has an extra layer of security.

To continue, open the authenticator app you previously set up for 2FA, whether it’s Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or any other authenticator app.

Find the account linked to the site you are about to access and fill in the six-digit authentication code

If you trust this device and prefer not to repeat this step every time you log in, simply check the box to remember this device. Kindly be aware that any new device/browser, changes in IP address, or system updates would require you to sign in again with an authenticator code.

You can choose to revoke one or all trusted devices in the Account Security settings. When a device is revoked, reauthentication will be required upon login.

Choosing the Log out from all devices option will sign you out from every device, including the one you are currently using.
